New changes for the better future are coming
The fundamental core of GDPR is the protection of human privacy, regulation of information transferring and respect for one of the most important rights ever given to people- right for freedom of choice. It means that each person should have a control over his life, taking full responsibility for what they share and what is implied to be hidden. This right isn’t particularly constrained by your location or citizenship because virtual borders are rather evasive in restriction.
Nonetheless, GDPR regulations cover every single business entity or private party in the European Union providing the protection of the following points:
1. Information is collected in accordance with all legal borderlines with a proper level of transparency and true identification.
2. The policy of confidentiality is obliged to follow all criteria of security while transferring information.
3. The accuracy of facts and elimination of distorted usage and representations.
4. The right to access and erase private information and setting terms for data storage.
5. Responsibility for usage, check, transfer and keeping private information of a person or an entity without granted permissions.
Considering above-mentioned facts, companies are pushed into changing the existing workflow and performing the complex restructuring of internal processes:
* a client should provide official consent for data collection and disclosure rights having the benefit to suspend the contract without limitations;
* provisioning of secure mechanisms for data processing legally and confidentially ;
* reorganization of paperwork and reports reflecting all activities.
According to requirements of GDPR, companies are forced to bring a new internal policy for data processing, advancing skills of employees, getting all information documented, creating a confidentiality policy and taking full responsibility for legal violations. These changes will take a considerable amount of time, so don’t hesitate too much and get to work today.
